A gut-wrenching, dreadful look into the life of a railroad worker named Robert Grainier.
Absolutely stunning cinematography, just incredible shots throughout every second of the film. Truly masterful craftsmanship in the art of cinema. The visuals, the score, the narration, and of course, the tremendous acting from everyone, especially Joel Edgerton, make this movie an incredibly emotional ride from start to finish.

I need to watch this again as soon as possible to really digest it all, which is saying a lot given how straightforward of a story it is and how it tells so much with so little. Some scenes are just out of this world, both aesthetically and emotionally speaking.
I’m going to be thinking about this one for a long time.
